Such a wonderful place to have some amazingly delicious food. I've tried a bit of everything with chocolate and it was so tasty. As a belgian I love some good chocolate and you don't find it everywhere but here it was just a little bomb of taste in your mouth . They have different type of chocolate to eat but also to make hot chocolate at home . The service was wonderful and the staff was very friendly and helpful and took the time to have a little chat with us to explain everything about the chocolates but also about what to see and do on the coast . When we're again in Pittenweem we will definitely make a stop again .
Lovely little shop with a great selection of top quality chocolates and friendly service. I enjoyed a superb piece of chocolate cake and the best mocha I've ever tasted. Loved the ambience in the café, with distinctive design details and relaxing music. Good range of options on the menu for a morning coffee or light lunch. If you've got time, it's worth visiting St Fillan's Cave to see one of Pittenweem's most interesting features. You can pick up the key here for a £1 deposit.
Wonderful visit to this very quaint coffee shop, the food was really nice and served quickly with their own hot chocolate. Prices are decent. The chocolate selection is huge and a good tourist attraction is great to visit St Gillian cave, £1 entry with a £10 deposit that you get back when you return the key. If you're around this area worth a visit and a look around the town in general
A cozy cafe for lunch. Apparently a number of patrons left so dizzily content that they forgot their glasses! Not to worry because the considerate staff have saved them all in a glass bowl by the register.
Visited this lovely cafe for hot drinks only on this occasion. The Cocoa Tree Shop serves one of the best mocha and hot chocolate you can find on the east coast of Scotland. It's slightly more expensive compared with other cafes but definitely worth it, and strongly recommended to visit if in this area. There is an inside and outdoor area. Both spaces offer quite limited sitting places, and any groups larger than 4 would probably find it difficult to sit together. On the day of my visit the staff showed much more patience to dogs than kids, but still being quite polite and friendly.
I currently live in Australia, separated from my elderly mother. A few years ago, I organised to have chocolates sent to her from The Cocoa Tree Shop. To my surprise and gratitude, Sophie delivered them in person. Mum has since had her beautiful treats regularly and Sophie sends me a photo and a wee report. I am so grateful for her acts of kindness. This is a special place, run by a special lady. I can't wait to come back and visit in person.
We love visiting this little chocolate shop when in the area, but for the first time over the festive break, I tried one of their hot chocolates, and oh my goodness, why have I not had one before, gorgeous. The staff are so friendly in here it really is why I love coming back, but their selection of hand made chocolates and flavours are irresistible. We love being able to support small local independent businesses and this is why we love the East Neuk of Fife so much, there are so many wonderful crafters in the area, so this is one you 100% won’t want to miss and treat yourself to.
Lovely quirky little place. The food is excellent and my wife says the chocolates and the hot chocolate are to die for. All the ingredients are locally sourced and all the chocolate is made on the premises. The staff are welcoming and lovely. If you're in the area pop in for breakfast, lunch or an afternoon snack or just coffee and cake (the chocolate cake is so good it's almost obscene ).
